Kumbh Mela in India
The ornamental concept of the Kumbh Mela involves the celebration of every revolution that Jupiter completes. This age old pilgrimage encapsulates the religious sentiments of Hindu devotees. The festival occurs every 12 years at four river sites: Allahabad (Ganges-Yamuna-Sarasvati rivers confluence), Haridwar (Ganges), Nasik (Godavari), and Ujjain (Shipra).
